Also a new collection of hare studies by local house artist Valerie Briggs; paintings by Duncan Macgregor and Richard Pargeter; glass by Martin Andrews garden art by Nigel Edmondson, Sarah Walton, Christine-Ann Richards and Katie Green.

The magic of animals sculptured in bronze and clay by Emma Rodgers, and hand formed vessels in earthenware and stoneware by Tina Vlassopulos, are the focus for the October ceramics exhibition at The Gallery at Bevere. Emma's work will be complemented by studies of hares by popular local house artist Valerie Briggs, who is well known for her detailed work of British wildlife.

Gallery Director Kim Taylor said, "Since The Gallery at Bevere reopened in May as a regional centre for ceramics, we have been honoured to host so many of the country's finest ceramicists. We trust our visitors will enjoy Emma and Tina's work as much as we do."

Other Works

Other artists featured in October's exhibition are: Duncan Macgregor, the UK's most celebrated marine artist today; Richard Pargeter, whose harmonious images evoke memories of long summer days; and Martin Andrews, one of the UK's leading glassmakers. Shown in the Gallery's outdoor space is a selection of Garden Art by Nigel Edmondson, Sarah Walton, Christine-Ann Richards and Katie Green.
